Summary of Conduct Mr Sleigh was engaged to represent a company in relation to a debt and winding-up application. Mr Sleigh failed provide costs disclosure and failed to progress the matter and take steps in relation to a default judgment statutory demand and winding-up application. Order: Pursuant to Section 299(1) of the Uniform Law the Victorian Legal Services Commissioner has decided that Mr Sleigh has engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct and makes the following orders i. Mr Sleigh is reprimanded pursuant to section 299(1)(b) of the Uniform Law; and ii. Mr Sleigh is ordered pursuant to section 299(1)(e) of the Uniform Law to undertake four (4) CPD units additional to the standard requirements within 120 days of the date of the determination with at least one unit in relation to each of ethics and professional responsibility insolvency law and communication with clients.
